FALL 2023 - Transportation Driver
Lafayette College Public Safety is seeking part-time driver(s) to perform on-campus and off-campus student transports. You will be driving a college owned vehicle. Medical transportation van drivers will assist students on campus through dispatch by Public Safety. Students will call dispatch when they need approved medical transports on and off campus (up to 10 miles). The transportation driver will pick up students and drive them to their requested location for doctor appointment, academic needs and dining on campus.

Drivers report to: Public Safety Operations Manager
Shifts available: - Hours will vary; set schedules can be accommodated
- M- 12:30pm - 9pm
- T- 12:30pm - 9pm
- W- 12:30pm– 9:00pm
- TH- 12:30pm - 9pm
- F-5:30-9pm
Approximate Start Date: 8/28/2023 - 8/29/2023 (Training days)
Qualifications:
Training is provided. A valid U. S. drivers license is required; you must have a clean driving record and have your drivers license for a minimum of 2 years.
- Possess a valid domestic driver’s license
- Reliable and courteous
- Good driving habits and a clean driving record
- Have at least two years of driving experience in the United States
- Expected to be familiar with Pennsylvania motor vehicle law and Lafayette College Transportation Policies
- Preference is given to students who are eligible for Federal Work-study funds
