FALL 2024 - Recreation Services Marketing Positions

The Recreation Services group is hiring for marketing positions:
Photographers
Video editors
Graphic designers
 

​​Photographer:  

Recreation Services’ Marketing & Media Team is looking for a photographer. This person would be in charge of capturing on-site department programs and activities (e.g., GroupFit classes, Intramural Sport games, etc.) and editing photos for use in various print and digital media. This person should also have access to their own equipment (e.g., camera, lenses, etc.) and will need to use DropBox or Google Drive to share content. We need a student who has a creative eye and is focused on composition and understands lighting. The time required for this position fluctuates between 1-3 hours per week based on projects assigned and including the weekly team meeting.

Videographer/Video Editor 

Recreation Services’ Marketing & Media Team is looking for a Videographer/Video Editor. The Videographer would be in charge of recording on-site department programs and activities (e.g., GroupFit classes, Intramural Sports games, etc.). After recording, this person would be responsible for editing the material into a variety of short-form advertisements for the Team to post on behalf of Rec Services across various platforms. The Videographer should have previous experience with video editing and will need to use DropBox or Google Drive to share larger content files. We need a student who is creative, goal-oriented, and focused on production. The time required for this position fluctuates between 1-3 hours per week based on projects assigned and including the weekly team meeting.

Graphic Designer:
 

Recreation Services’ Marketing & Media Team is looking for an artistic, creative, and skillful Graphic Designer. The Graphic Designer will create, edit, and organize content for the team. The content will be posted on behalf of Recreation Services across various electronic media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, OurCampus, etc.) in addition to being printed on traditional mediums (e.g. flyers, lawns signs, banners, etc.). The creative work includes applying graphic design skills to create new content, editing existing content, and uploading files to the Shared Google Drive. We need a student who is a creative thinker, team-oriented, and outcome-focused. The time required for this position fluctuates between 1-3 hours per week, including the weekly team meeting where you will get your assignments and contribute to an overall strategy.
