Mission Statement

Ambassadors of Lafayette are responsible for serving the College and its Admissions Office in welcoming, hosting, and aiding visitors to the College. Ambassadors include tour guides, office workers and senior interviewers. Responsibilities can include giving interviews to prospective students, working in the Admissions Office, serving on panels during virtual and on-campus events, coordinating events and visitation with Admissions staff, onboarding and training new AoL staff, and serving to aid in the College’s mission statement and goals.

Thank you for your interest! Senior Interviewers (SIs) are a part of the student admissions corps: Ambassadors of Lafayette (AoL). Ambassadors are an integral part of the admissions process. Specifically, Senior Interviewers connect with prospective students and determine their candidacy for admission. SIs conduct a 30-minute interview with each student and document their interview in a write-up that is submitted to the student’s file. Admissions directors use the interview write-up to evaluate the application. We are looking for enthusiastic and relationally driven students who can conduct evaluative interviews to recruit the class of 2029.

The Ambassadors of Lafayette are currently supervised by admissions staff:

Senior Interviewers (SIs) - Bri Braswell ‘16 Assistant Director of Admissions

Tour Guides, Office Workers - Jade Saybolt ‘16 Associate Director of Admissions

All AoL’s are supported by Becca Pichetto, Divisional Operations Manager for Enrollment, Sue Newquist, Associate Director of Visitation, and Fernando Capula, Visitation Coordinator
